The deck was made to work best with steam os, like it or not. its also not a typical pc sold by another retailer, locked behind microsoft deals and market control. The performance is good, but you will still have to mess with setting up GlosC or GlosSi to use Deck controls in your games(Game Pass, Epic, etc.). They have official drivers now, including sound drivers which was the biggest issue initially.
